I purposely posted this blog so that people would NOT purchase items from these people! You would think that eBay and PayPal would notice that there are numerous complaints about the seller stating that they never received the cell phone or refund from the buyer. I'm going to check back with eBay and PayPal to see if I can make a complaint AGAIN regarding a refund that I have NEVER received. They'll probably tell me that the complaints need to be made within a month.
The following are comments that I received regarding other buyers that did NOT receive their refund from YT's Cell Phones. I am certain there were others, but I used the wrong comments setting for this blog. NOW... anyone and everyone will be able to leave comments on this blog. We really need to get together and file a complaint regarding this company! They need to give us a FULL REFUND.

I have the same problem. I have bought one phone from them. It didn't work and I returned it back for another one. The other one was again with a defect and I requested refund. I send it to them back and still do not get refund for that!!! Hey guys, let's do anything to kick their asses so that they understand that it is punishable.

To get your money back, we all need to open a paypal dispute. If its past the time to open one, you can ring up and they will open it then auto close it. This leaves it on his record, then if a few people do it, they reopen all cases and try resolve it. I've already done it, just waiting for others to do the same now.

Unfortunately, I placed my order through eBay and eBay did not refund the money. I should have used my American Express card, because it's easier to dispute the charge with American Express than using eBay and PayPal's process. I'm just hoping that people read this blog before they purchase their item from YT's Cell Phones, cellphoneforever or ytshopping2008. I have learned my lesson. Whenever I return anything to anyone, I use proof of delivery with Domestic or International Return Receipt service.

Use an American Express card for purchase. you than can put it in dispute,if it doesn't work, and they will never get paid.

you shouldnt have bought items outside ebay. If you did buy it on ebay, if the seller doesnt reply your messages, you should escalate the case to costumers support and they will refund you the money.

These guys are the biggest scam artists ever, i did the exact same thing. my cell phone would not work i sent it back they kept saying they would give me a refund to keep me happy and then after 45 days stopped responding and ripped me off and will never give my money back. For all of you looking at there items never buy from them again there products are fake and they are huge scammers! i am verrrry anggrryyy!!!!!

I have not yet received my refund or a new phone. I would NOT recommend purchasing anything from YT's Cell Phones also known as cellphoneforever on Ebay.
I figured it might be a scam when I clicked. Bad me. What i don't understand is how the store got so many positive customer reviews (thousands).

If the item works, then they get positive reviews on eBay. If the item does not work, then they get negative reviews on eBay. I purchased an item from them via eBay, and despite me using USPS Priority mail to return an item to YT's Cell Phones (Ebay Seller Name is cellphoneforever or ytshopping2008) I still did NOT receive a refund! I still have NOT received my refund!
ReplyDeleteI purchased a phone at bestpricephones on eBay. I was supposed to receive it jan17 2012. I still haven't received it and what's even more strange is that the communication between me and this seller is signed as cellphoneforever. So I'm guessing it's the same thing too!
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't received your item, at least you could file a dispute with eBay. Hopefully your item works, otherwise you might end up having the same problem as the rest of us on this blog.
ReplyDeleteI should have done my research before purchasing a product overseas, but the seller sowaytech/cellphoneforever had good reviews, so I didn't think twice. Once I received the cell phone I ordered (new blackberry), I hated it. The buttons were way too small, so I asked to send it back. The seller and I were in full communication and they even asked me to send them a picture of the receipt by email, as they would pay the $20 shipping charges. I did everything they asked of me. Almost a month went by and I emailed them for an update. They just told me to keep patiently waiting because it takes a while to get there and they will send me a confirmation and refund once the package arrives. Eventually they stopped responding to me altogether and I got concerned. When I contacted eBay and PayPal they gave me their condolences, but told me there was nothing they could do as it was past the 30-day and 45-day mark. I was surely played for a fool by this company, as it was my first eBay return and I didn't know my options. All I can say for myself is to let this be a lesson learned and next time I know the proper action I need to take when returning an item. Aside from that, I am deeply disturbed how this company has scammed me and the other eBay users whose blogs I have read. I am even more upset at how eBay can continue to let scam artists like this be active sellers. Especially when they have received numerous complaints about this business. And still they do nothing?? Sowaytech/cellphoneforever's eBay page needs to be suspended! I couldn’t even go back to write a negative review about them because it was past the time! Something needs to be done to put this company out of business and save others from having to go through this BS! If there is anything that can be done...I am all ears.

ReplyDeleteAnyways i actually figuered out how they have so many Good Reviews. Many of their buyers Are probably their friends or something. because if you look at the positive reviews, some of them bought the same item for less then a dollar many times.
I looked at one buyer and he was just spamming the website with positive reviews. He had the same comment over 10 times and he bought the same item for less then 50 cents. So basically he spent maybe 10 or 20 dollars and gave a review for each item that he bought for less then a dollar. This way he could spam the reviews legally.
I also noticed that there is alot of buyers that buy things for less then a dollar from cellphone forever. Then they just spam the reviews.

ReplyDeleteDo you guys know if Swiss Post is Express? I paid them for express 7-9 business days and then inquired on my shipment 5 days later since the tracking information wasn't populating and I was given a reply that it would take 14-28 business days.

ReplyDeleteNever ever buy anything from them. These guys are fraud. I got a broken item from them and was not able to get my money back. They use the fact that eBay dispute can only be open within 45 days from the original transaction. It takes over a month to get the item from them, then you send it back,

They are also now selling 'new' phones that don't work properly on ebay under: unlocked_nocontract

I am stunned that ebay and paypal is still allowing them to conduct business with them when they can so easily be traced directly back to their main company, regardless of the different seller ID names they use.
I am assuming many of you have formally complained to ebay and PayPal and they've received a link to this blog. I don't know how to select an honest seller on ebay and will never buy anything from this site again. Buyer Beware!
